Transceiver of high-frequency(HF) signals for protections of 110-750 kV lines
"ORION" UPZ is intended for transmission and reception signals of relay protection through a HF communication channel of overhead 110-750 kV power lines.
"ORION" UPZ has the ability to work with relay protections:
- electromechanical relays (ДФЗ 2, ДФЗ 201, ДФЗ 402, ДФЗ 504, ДФЗ 503, ЭПЗ 627, ЭПЗ 1643 and etc.);
- contains semiconductor elements, integrated circuits (ПДЭ 2802, ПДЭ 2003 and etc.);
- microprocessor devices («Диамант-ДФЗ», «Экра», L60 and etc.).
"ORION" UPZ performs the functions:
- transmission and reception signals from relay protection (base mode);
- supervision of the HF channel (additional function);
- the intercom mode between all points of the HF channel (additional function);
- test modes of operation during installation and maintenance (service function).
"ORION" UPZ uses in the following cases:
- operation of two transceivers (reception, transmission) on the same frequency;
- operation of two transmitters at different transmit and receive frequencies with a frequency spacing of 1.0 or 1.5 kHz;
- operation of three transceivers on a three-end power line with a spacing between transmission frequencies of 0.5 kHz.
